Cécile Jadot graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law in 2016 from the Université Saint-Louis Bruxelles and with a Master’s Degree in Law in 2018 from the Catholic University of Louvain with a specialisation in Public Law, both earned with highest honours.
She has been a member of the Brussels bar since October 2019. In collaboration with Michel Kaiser and Emmanuel Gourdin, she practises in every area of constitutional and administrative law at the Altea law firm.
Before being admitted to the bar, she gained experience in the areas of international law and human rights through traineeships at the United Nations, the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia in Phnom Penh, and with the Belgian judge at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. She also completed a traineeship at the Children’s Rights Knowledge Centre (KeKi) in Ghent.
In 2019, she also joined the CIRC (the Interdisciplinary Constitutional and Administrative Law Research Centre at the Université Saint-Louis Bruxelles), where she was hired to teach Legal Sources and Principles as an assistant lecturer.
